Who is Bill Millwood the REALTOR?  

    I am a real estate professional dedicated to excellence within the industry. Adopting a phrase from a Western Carolina University professor “learn to love to learn” I continue to increase my knowledge and credentials through advanced continuing education. I am a Certified Residential Specialist, a designation only 4% of REALTORS nationwide ever obtain and the only designation with both education and sales requirements. I also obtained the GREEN designation so I can help inform clients on environmentally friendly products and techniques.  

    As a Licensed Broker-In-Charge, I work in Buncombe, McDowell & Henderson Counties with Real Estate Revolutions – a name that reflects the changing tide of real estate from papered marketing and agent secrecy to digital advertising, social networking and full information sharing. Exceptional customer service is my number one priority! It also reflects how ownership of a home or land revolve over time from one person to the next. Whether it's being passed down from generation to generation or being sold on the open market, real estate ownership is always revolving.  

    I have spent my entire life living in and around the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Growing up in Caldwell County, my background has prepared me to foster planned growth that attracts tourists while serving the needs of the locals through proper planning. My concern for the preservation and quality of life where I live drove me to volunteer for a term on the Black Mountain Planning Board where I aided in developing the new zoning ordinance and helped to ensure sensible, managed growth which will not destroy our beautiful mountains.
